TAS is a revolutionary development by Slazenger Cricket to improve the spring back action of cricket bats by providing TAS inserts into side edges. These inserts are made of oak and pre bend in nature.
Insert bend are kept opposite to the bat bow shape. Due to opposite bend , inserts provide spring back on bat edges which finally give super bat edges. This technology is patented by Slazenger and preformed by specialized machines.  TAS inserts are provided both side of edges. As ball hits the edge of bat , TAS works like a spring and give extra power to shots while laminated edge will give durable bat feel. As Bat edges work like spring , it also give enlarged sweet spot and give extra opportunity to hit big shots. By recoding the test data , 27% increase in ball rebound is observed when ball hits on TAS inserts bat. TAS also improved the torsional stiffness which is very import when ball hits on bat with very high speed. As torsional  stiffness improved , bat durability will also improved for extended bat use.

•Due to TAS inserts , bat will act as spring (Spring action) during impact.
